Dramane MEITE

Dramane is a seasoned expert in financial products and market strategy, with over 15 years of experience in finance, technology, and innovation. He currently serves as Head of Product, New Markets at Hashdex, where he has been leading the development of innovative investment solutions in emerging markets since October 2021.

Prior to that, Dramane worked for nearly three years at PIMCO in Newport Beach, California, where he served as Vice President in the Executive Office and then as Product Strategist for client solutions and analytics. There, he contributed to the design of customized investment strategies and the management of high-impact cross-functional projects.

His commitment to financial innovation was also demonstrated through his role as a member of Stanford Venture Studio, where he participated in the launch of a digital financial services platform dedicated to the African continent. He also collaborated with Hashdex in 2018 in Rio de Janeiro on financial product management, and with Exten in São Paulo as a digital consultant.

Dramane began his career in financial markets at Standard Chartered Bank, where he spent nearly five years, progressing from Global Markets Trainee to Dealer, with responsibilities in currency trading, balance sheet management, and derivatives marketing. He then joined the IFC (International Finance Corporation) in Washington, D.C., as a financial analyst specializing in structured products, local currency lending, and asset-liability management.

His career has been enriched by international experience, notably at Yoco in South Africa, and by high-level internships at PIMCO and GROUPE NSIA. Dramane combines cutting-edge technical expertise with a global strategic vision, making him a key player in the transformation of financial services worldwide.
