Georges Ouffoué, PhD, is an architect of tomorrow’s digital transformation. Based in Paris, he brings nearly ten years of experience in leading complex projects with high technological, environmental, and strategic stakes.
An engineer and holder of a PhD in Computer Science from Paris-Saclay University, Georges has developed deep expertise in cloud computing, datacenter infrastructures, cybersecurity, and software engineering, complemented by strong skills in innovation strategy and sustainable development. He is CDCP-certified (Certified Data Centre Professional) and has an advanced professional command of English (C1+).
He served as Director of Datacenter & Sustainability Projects at APL Data Center, where he led more than 20 missions representing over 5 million euros in revenue. His work notably includes move-to-cloud strategies, system resilience (DRP/BCP), information system security (ISO 27001), datacenter urbanization and energy optimization, as well as the implementation of Green IT roadmaps and responsible digital strategies.
He is also the founder of the Lab by APL, an innovation-focused entity where he structured strategic priorities, developed more than 40 partnerships, and led around ten innovative projects in the fields of energy, environment, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. He notably contributed to the development of the NégaOctet project, the first environmental database dedicated to digital technologies.
Since 2025, Georges has founded Cyver, a consulting firm aiming to accelerate digital transformation without compromising the planet. Cyver Expert guides organizations toward smarter, more resilient infrastructures that are deeply aligned with today’s global challenges.
Alongside his operational activities, Georges Ouffoué is an active contributor to discussions on the environmental impacts of digital technology. Author of numerous white papers, frameworks, and scientific publications, he regularly speaks at international conferences and roundtables on datacenter issues, the environmental footprint of digital systems, and ecological transition.
Committed to community engagement, he participates in several initiatives promoting academic excellence, innovation, and sustainable development in Africa, while working to reduce the digital divide and strengthen local capacities.
