Holder of a Master Unlimited licence, Koffi Alexandre Ehouman has commanded the diving support vessel SILI GWENN for Dixstone Marine since 15 October 2023, operating off Cameroon in support of offshore oil fields. Since 2024, Koffi Alexandre Ehouman has also worked as a marine surveyor (consultant) for Afreek Marine Solutions, carrying out On/Off-Hire, condition and pre-purchase surveys on offshore support vessels across Côte d’Ivoire and West/Central Africa.
The command career of Koffi Alexandre Ehouman spans several types of offshore vessels: diving support vessels (DSV), anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS), multicats and passenger vessels. Previous commands include SILI GWENN for LLYR Marine NL off Cameroon, the Multicat/AHTS COASTAL FIGHTER off Cameroon and COASTAL ATLAS off the Democratic Republic of Congo for Alma Shipping/Acta Marine, and the tug BANDIA off Senegal for GMZ Shipping Management. Earlier roles, before reaching command, included Chief Mate on SILI GLAZ off Gabon, COASTAL SAGA off Togo and the AHTS OCEAN SKY off Côte d’Ivoire, pilot of passenger vessels in Abidjan, and able seaman aboard the fishing vessel PROGRES.
Education: Diploma of Master on a seagoing ship of 3,000 GT or more (2018-2019) and Mate Diploma (2012-2015), both from the Regional Academy of Maritime Sciences and Technologies in Abidjan.
