Michael Tra Bi is Managing Partner of Challenge Consulting Bamako, a firm specialized in strategic support for businesses and institutions in West Africa.

With expertise in economic, event-driven, and territorial intelligence, he contributes to development, communication, and management projects, leveraging cross-disciplinary skills ranging from finance to statistics, as well as marketing and event organization.
Graduated in Finance and Accounting, he further enriched his academic background with training in management, communication, and project studies, which provides him with a comprehensive vision of economic and organizational challenges. His academic and professional profile enables him to combine analytical rigor with operational creativity, two essential qualities in the execution of complex projects.
In 2020, he was awarded by the prestigious Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), which recognizes African entrepreneurs leading innovative and high-impact initiatives. This international recognition strengthened his position as a key player in entrepreneurial development across the continent.

As a Tony Elumelu Foundation laureate (TEF 2020), he embodies a new generation of African entrepreneurs committed to innovation and local development. Founder of the Network of Young Dynamic Leaders, he has been working since 2017 to promote civic leadership and empower young talents.
His commitment also extended to the Rotary Club Bamako Alassane Kanté, where he served as President in 2023–2024, illustrating his ability to combine professional leadership with civic engagement.
